A community platform and content for MusicPlayground.

MusicPlayground connects musicians, audiences and curators in Malta. Its old website ran on Wix and could not do what the community needed, so it was replaced with a fully custom platform for events, tickets, memberships and artist archives, with an admin side for the team. Alongside it I produce photography, video and social content for the scene, including festival act spotlights. A mobile app is in progress.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

The problem

The Wix site could list events but not sell member-priced tickets, hold an artist archive, approve acts or pay curators. Musicians, music lovers and curators each needed their own way in, and the team needed to run all of it, from act approvals to ticket revenue, without a developer on call.

02 / THE APPROACH

What I built

Three journeys

Musicians register, get approved and join the archives. Music lovers join the Tribe membership for discounted tickets and perks. Curators apply, organise events and receive payouts.

Events and tickets

Event pages carry the date, venue, ticket price and member price, ticket purchase, community photo uploads and event stats.

Admin and content

An admin dashboard tracks users, ticket sales, membership and event revenue, act approvals, media approvals and curator payouts. Photography, video and social posts, such as the Earth Garden 2026 act spotlights, promote the scene.

The platform combines artist and event listings with membership, ticketing and administration tools. Photography, video and social content, including festival spotlights, support the website and the scene around it.
