Website, ERP and CRM for Storex.

Storex is a storage and logistics company in Malta. It started with a Wix website and no system behind it. I built the ERP and CRM around that site first, integrating with Wix for enquiries and invoices, then kept building until the whole operation ran on its own system. An ongoing social media campaign runs alongside, so an enquiry from the website or Instagram becomes a quote, a client record, invoices and a storage term in one place.

WEBSITE PREVIEW
01 / THE CHALLENGE

The problem

Quotes, client records, invoices, renewals, warehouse space and customer messages were spread across the Wix site, email, WhatsApp and spreadsheets. The business needed one system its small team could run without adding staff as it grew, without throwing away the website customers already knew.

02 / THE APPROACH

What I built

01

From Wix to an independent system

The Wix site stayed as the public front. Its storage calculator and quote form post enquiries straight into the CRM, including abandoned quotes, and invoices sync both ways. Quotes, onboarding, operations, billing, messaging and the customer portal were then built into the CRM itself, stage by stage, until the business ran on its own system.

02

Operations

Client records hold storage volumes, rates, terms and files. The warehouse map links every unit to a client, the logistics calendar schedules move-ins and collections, and the storage calendar shows each term month by month with invoice status.

03

Money and communication

Invoices sync with Wix, renewals and payment reminders go out by email and WhatsApp, and one inbox brings Gmail, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram together. A customer portal gives clients their statements, files, stored items and service requests.

01 / DASHBOARD

One dashboard for the whole operation

Client counts, monthly revenue and volume, invoice collection and the queues that need attention: overdue invoices, renewals, exits, quote requests and onboardings.

Overview / Queues / Quick actions↗ Open a queue or a quick action to jump to that part of the system.
02 / QUOTES

Item-based storage quotes

The website's space calculator lets customers add items with set volumes, pick a storage term and a billing plan. The request lands in the CRM as a quote to work on.

03 / CLIENTS

Client onboarding

Guided onboarding brings client details, the storage agreement, the first invoice, portal access and the move-in appointment into one checklist.

Client records / Documents / Portal setup↗ Complete the checklist to see the client become ready.
04 / WAREHOUSE MAP

Warehouse map and inventory

Every unit is drawn on the floor plan, colour-coded by size and linked to its client, with occupancy and utilisation at the top. A map gives the team context a list cannot.

Warehouse map / Capacity / Client stock↗ Select a unit to see its client and contents.
05 / LOGISTICS

Move-ins and collections

A logistics calendar keeps operational appointments visible, synced with Google Calendar and tied to the client record.

06 / STORAGE CALENDAR

Terms, invoices and renewals

The storage calendar shows each client's term month by month with invoice status. Renewals, drafts and reminders are handled from the same view.

Invoices / Renewals / Payment tracking / Reminders↗ Preview the demo client's renewal, then simulate its payment.
07 / MESSAGES

Customer messages

Gmail, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram conversations sit in one inbox, filed against the client record so follow-up stays with the work.

Multi-account Gmail / WhatsApp / Messenger / Instagram↗ Switch channels to follow the same demo client.
08 / ACCOUNTS

Expenses and reporting

Receipt OCR, a sales ledger, VAT summary and exports support the back office, with website and Instagram analytics alongside.

Receipt OCR / Sales ledger / VAT / Analytics↗ Scan the sample receipt to fill in the expense record.
09 / PORTAL

Customer portal

Clients log in to their own portal for statements, files, stored items and service requests, linked to the same records the team uses.

Statements / Files / Stored items / Service requests↗ Explore the tabs in the demo portal.
10 / EXITS

Move-out and account closure

Exit quotes, final invoices and a completion workflow give the team a structured way to finish a storage term.
