ToolMasta is my utility website: 101 free browser tools for text, code, calculations, images, PDFs and conversions, a software directory of verified finance and revenue-operations tools, and a blog of guides and comparisons. Static HTML on Cloudflare with a JSON data layer.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

The problem

Utility sites compete on search. Growing beyond the tools meant adding a directory where every listing is complete and verified before it is published, so the site grows in quality rather than volume.

02 / THE APPROACH

What I built

Browser tools

101 single-purpose tools run entirely in the browser, each covered by an automated test suite.

Software directory

Listings are JSON validated against a schema: name, website, category, tagline, editorial description, pricing, features, alternatives and dated sources. A build script renders category and listing pages and adds a listing to the sitemap only once it passes a completeness gate.

Editorial and search

Comparison articles and guides support the tools and the directory. Scripts submit new pages to Google and IndexNow and keep the sitemap current.
