Import and culling
RAW folders are scanned into a local library. AI analysis scores sharpness, exposure and detail and flags duplicates by perceptual hashing. A decision engine keeps the best shots at a threshold you set, with manual review.
Imagic started as a private tool for my own photography jobs, with no plan to release it: a faster way to cull and edit a shoot. It worked well enough that I shipped it. It is now a desktop application anyone can buy, with AI culling and an agent workflow that most editing software does not yet offer, sold as one-time licences from a website with checkout. A YouTube channel, reels and carousels explain the workflow to photographers.

A shoot means thousands of RAW files to organise, review, edit and export. The product had to connect those stages in one focused application, first for me and then for anyone, and the marketing had to show photographers, in their own language, why a one-time local tool beats a subscription.

Styles render in batches in the background with crash-safe resume, then export finals. An MCP server lets AI assistants run the same culling and editing steps.
The website explains features, pricing and demos, with checkout and accounts. A blog of guides and comparison articles launched together with on-page SEO across the site, and search impressions and clicks rose within days and have kept growing. Three YouTube videos, two Shorts, before/after and feature reels, and Instagram carousels turn the features into examples.

Quality scoring, duplicate detection and threshold-based keep or reject decisions.
A background task queue renders styles and exports finals.
