For shops & retail

One stock count for the shop and the site.

Stock that stays right across the shop floor and online, orders and suppliers in one place, customer records you can market to, and new items listed in minutes rather than an afternoon.

Sound familiar?

The website says in stock. The shelf says otherwise.

Retailers end up with a till, an online store and a spreadsheet that never quite agree, and listing new stock takes longer than selling it.

  • Online and in-store stock are counted separately.
  • Reordering happens when the shelf is already empty.
  • Listing each new item means photos, copy and pricing by hand.
  • Customer details sit in the till and never get used.

How integrations work
A good fit if
  • You sell in store and online and stock keeps drifting.
  • You list lots of unique or second-hand items.
  • Your supplier and reorder process is still on paper.
Not the right call if
  • You sell a small fixed range online only. Shopify on its own will serve you well.
How it runs

From first call to daily use.

The same five steps on every project, sized to yours.

  1. 01A short call or the quote builder

Tell me how the business runs today: the tools, the workarounds, the bit that drives you mad. The quote builder takes about five minutes and gives me a scoped brief.

  2. 02A fixed quote, in phases

I reply with a fixed price and a phase plan. The must-haves go first, so you are using the system while the rest is still being built.

  3. 03Previews as it’s built

You see the real system on a private link while it is being built, with your own data in it as early as possible. Changes are cheap at this stage, so this is where we make them.

  4. 04Your data moved across

Spreadsheets, an old system, email threads: the data comes with you, checked against the source so nothing is lost on the way.

  5. 05Launch, then care

Your team gets a walkthrough, and I stay on for fixes and new features, either on a monthly support plan or pay as you go.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can it sync stock with Shopify or WooCommerce?

Yes. Stock and orders sync both ways so the shop floor and the website agree.

How does AI listing work?

Staff photograph an item; the system identifies it, drafts the title and description and suggests a price from comparable listings. Staff review every listing before it goes live.

Do I need to replace my till?

Not necessarily. If your till can export or connect, it can feed the system. If not, a replacement can be part of the plan.

Can you move my shop off Wix or WooCommerce?

Yes. ChefWorks was moved onto Shopify with its products and collections.
